Storm Chasing
Why are some people drawn to severe weather? What do you find fascinating or interesting about thunderstorms? What would get you to go outside and watch one?
Many people are drwan to sever weather. Lets say there is a hurricane, flood, or any other types of severe weather passing through New Jersey or any other state. What would come first to your mind? Some people think of grabbing food, supplies, and saftey kits. While others go outside. Why go outside? The reasone why they might be drawn to sever weather is because they want to experience it, catch it on camera, or even tell others what they have been through. I like knowing the fact that there are thunderstroms that pass through where I live. I like the way its raining and it is rainy at the same time. It is amazing being outside experiencing the thunderstorm itself. Its also amazing when your in bed knowing that it is raining, and windy. Thats why some people and I like going outside durring severe weather.
People are drawn to severe weather because I believe that most people think that they should be well prepared for the weather, and not get stuck in an issue that can’t be fixed when it’s too late. It’s smart to be prepared for severe weather because in some cases it can save you a lot of money from damage that the weather can cause. What I find interesting about thunderstorms is how the sound of the thunder itself is created. Also I find that the average temperature of lightning being around 20000 °C interesting. What would get me to go outside and watch one is if the thunderstorm itself was really intense, I find it interesting how nature can be so peaceful and so destructive all in one.
Some people are drawn to sever weather because they would want to be prepared for the weather that is expected to come at them. I find thunderstorms interesting because of the lighning that comes down and the light and sound of the lightning and thunder. What will make me go outside and watch one is the weather and the nice breez that passes through the air.
Some people are drawn to severe weathers because they would want to do the first thing that pop up go and prepare for the weather so everyone can be safe . What I find so interesting about thunderstorm is the flash of light that comes out and how the positive and negative charges meet to create a loud noise and how it so powerful. What would catch my eyes would be how the flash comes out and will make a loud noise .
People are drawn to severe weather because it is a beautiful creation. Most people that are drawn to severe weather are drawn because weather can be unpredictable and the only way to find out what it is going to do is to go see it. What I find interesting about thunderstorms is the lightning I like this because it is very beautiful and it is something that draws the eye because of the bright lights. What would get me to go outside to watch a thunderstorm would be if the thunderstorm was really severe for example it would have to have really big lightning strikes and not a lot of precipitation so that i could see the clouds and possibly the clouds rotating but hopefully there is not tornado.
Many people are drawn to severe weather because in my opinion, I think whenever people hear on the news or radio about a strong storm they either want to experience by recording it or just going outside to see the winds. Others just really prepare for the storm and buy a lot of foods, and other supplies. The things I find fascinating about thunderstorms is the damage they cause because every time I see a thunderstorm, I just walk and see the storm. I didn't know how easy you are attracted to lightning. What would get me to go outside and watch one is to see lightning just go crazy and also hail would make me go outside because I've never seen or touch hail before, and I want to experience that.
Many people are drawn to severe weather because some people are just fascinated in the beautiful mother nature and people who usually go out are confident that they are prepared for it. What fascinates the most about thunderstorms is that thunder is the sound caused by lightning. What would get me to go outside is hail. Ive been through light hail before but not heavy hail. But I would definately go outside again during light hail.
Well I believe it depends on the person; some people like the rush of seeing the storms and some people who rather play it safe and stay inside for the duration of them. I find it fascinating how massive the super cells can be and how some can cover a whole state while also its wall can be hundreds of feet tall. If I was able to tell where a down draft was it would really intrigue me to go find out what exactly it felt like to be in the midst of one.
Everyone has a passion, some people are drawn to sever weather because they like the way it looks. They have a curiosity, about how the storm looks in real life then on a TV or flash flood warning. About how bright lightning is, when your up close. They want to know what's happening in their area. I honestly don't think anything can make go outside and watch a storm, but I would go outside for a flood or high winds just because I know that I can still get away from them.

I am drawn to storms because I am fascinated by the different colors of lightning to be fascinating. I would actually go outside see the lightning only if it was a life or death situation that would not result in me dying.
Severe storms are deadly, huge, and rare when compared to the frequency of regular storms. These facts are what draw people to them. Storm chasing is just another dangerous activity to get people’s adrenaline high, like skydiving, bull fighting or doing stunts. I’m fascinated by the effect thunderstorms can have on people: how some cringe when it thunders even though it’s lightning that can kill you, how people fear to go out during or even use electronics. Regarding the storm itself, I find it interesting how fast lightning strikes, how sometimes it seems to change color, or when I can see it strike even though there is no rain or thunder. I would probably watch one just for the joy of watching. But if I had to pick I would choose a videogame or money.

Also the things that fascinates me about a thunderstorm is that the how it forms, like when it first forms it look a wall of clouds moving in direction which would draw my eyes towards it. Lastly if was able to watch a storm up close I would be very focused on it and how it is getting worse.

This is because I would like to see how big it is and how hard it is raining. Also, if there were high winds, I would go outside just to see if they could blow me around.

I believe that the thunderstorms really looks cool from my prespective but is really dagerous to be outside as well because the energy, the electricity that generates. You just need to be careful going outside, but from my prestective Im not going outside to watch one.

In my opinion I believe that the biggest challenge on sieving a tornado is having less foods and drinks so they can have everyone in the family is in good health, so they would want to rack up as in much food and drinks as possible . What would bring me outside to see one is how the tornado is created and how fast it will go .
